Baby It's Cold Outside Is a Creepy Song
THE battle for the most unsettling Christmas song is on - and there are a surprising amount of tunes on the list.
From Santa Baby, to the seemingly innocent Santa Claus is Coming to Town, here are the top five festive renditions that leave Twitter users feeling the most creeped out…
Baby, It's Cold Outside
This teasing tune has been around since 1944 and has always been a festive favourite.
But many can't seem to get over the raunchy words, and the fact that the female voice seems reluctant to stay at the man's house.
I feel like every time I listen to "Baby, It's Cold Outside", I find a new line where I go "Wait, WTF did he just say? Is this legal?"

Some Christmas lovers can't help but complain about the creepy lyrics: "What's in this drink?" and "I ought to say no, no, no" and "I really can't stay".

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
— YEGVino (@YEGVino) December 2, 2016What's that Christmas song where there's a creepy guy trying to convince you to do what he wants?
Oh right, Santa Claus is coming to town.
Santa Claus is coming to town / He sees you when you're sleeping / He-- wait what??? Santa, chill, that's a lil creepy man #XmasLyrics

This Jackson 5 single encapsulates all the excitement for Christmas Day – but some critics have joked that the title sounds more like a threat.
The fact that Santa "sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake" doesn't fill everyone with festive joy.

Santa Baby
Santa Baby is such a creepy song, like who sat down one day and decided, let's make Christmas sexual😂

Other revellers seem to be irked by the fact that Mr Claus is being referred to as "baby" and "honey" in this popular hit.
The song seems to imply that Father Christmas takes bribery to "hurry down the chimney", but this requires a very flirty nature.
One song hater remarked: "Santa Baby is such a creepy song, like who sat down one day and decided, let's make Christmas sexual."
