70s Style Boho Blouse, Flared Jeans and Converse
That'south it, I've gone full-on 70s style.
The temptation to pair my boho blouse with my Marks & Spencer flared jeans was likewise much: I usually say don't go for a caput-to-toe retro look from one specific decade unless you desire to recreate that era, but this was one of those times that I did. (Want to recreate that era, I mean.)
I also know that the style the flared jeans tendency is 'meant' to be worn this season is with (cake) heels, just to exist honest it was the weekend, I was walking to the supermarket and I but wanted to be practical and comfortable. Then I reached for my Converse Chuck Taylors. And did a eye departing. And if that'due south not 70s manner, I don't know what is…! The only exception to the 70s theme was my new white leather backpack from Asos. I've been looking for a smart haversack for a while (my mini plaid backpack just doesn't wait correct in the summer), and I remember this one will run across me through the wintertime equally well – I liked the contrast of the white leather against an off-white boho lace blouse.
I must mention the jeans as I'm gutted that these One thousand&S ones are sold out; they're the perfect flared jeans with the front patch pockets I'd been longing for all year… I'd tried on a few and none were every bit flattering as these.
Are you into the flared jeans yet? I was thinking of doing a post where I road-test a pick of loftier street flared jeans – is this of interest to anyone? Permit me know in the comments!
